What I’m actually doing this month.
Inspired by the /now page movement. A live snapshot, not a press release. Updated when the work shifts.
Building
- An internal operations layer that orchestrates inventory, order routing, and customer comms across multiple stores from a single workflow surface.
- Productized automation packages at digitalshijil.com — fixed scope, fixed price, built once, runs forever.
- The first batch of digital products coming out of this site: SOPs, n8n templates, prompt packs.
Shipping
- Weekly improvements across the active store portfolio. Nothing dramatic. Lots of small reductions in operational drag.
- This site. The version you’re reading is fresh. The writing engine behind it is still being calibrated.
Exploring
- How far Claude and the latest model APIs can be pushed inside an n8n workflow before the seams show.
- Headless commerce architecture for one of the portfolio stores — quietly, no announcements.
- The economics of solo‑operator businesses that pretend to be teams.
Reading & studying
- The Mom Test — Rob Fitzpatrick. Re‑reading. Aging better every year.
- How to Take Smart Notes — Sönke Ahrens.
- Anthropic’s engineering writing on long‑running agents. Genuinely useful, almost no hype.
- Old e‑commerce postmortems on Indie Hackers. The failures are more honest than the wins.
Not doing
- Posting daily on social. The compounding output is supposed to be the work, not the captions about the work.
- Taking on custom retainer clients. Productized scope only.
- Chasing every new model the day it ships. Most of them don’t change the shape of the work.
Where I am
- Working from Kerala, on India time. Calls happen on the weekends or late evenings, depending on where you are.
